YOUR FIRST TICKET TO COMMERCIAL AVIATION CAREER

Incredible but true!  This obliterates the myth that the first steps to Commercial Pilot training is too costly for the ambitious wannabecareer pilot.

Just compare the cost and time spent between the two pathways to commercial flying:

(1) University courses or a certificate program which is competency based.

The costs: standard university tuition.

Or 2) The local RA/GA Flying School or Aero Club Program with the obvious advantages of flexible time to suit work, family, lifestyle and importantly budgets.

A major bonus in favor of this second plan arises from the Civil Aviation Regulations(CAR 5) allowing up to 100 hours of "recreational flying (RA)" in RA aircraft which can be credited to the minimum aeronautical experience requirement as 'recognised flight time' for  commercial pilot license (CPL)training.  Because the bottom line is training costs, there are tremendous savings when using recreational aircraft to build hours torwards a CPL!
